These two lovely people were married in November. It was a cold wintery day but the warmth of their soft ivory and grey wedding flowers accented with brushed gold and silver sparkle was a perfect look for their wedding day. St Mary’s in Downtown Grand Rapids, definitely is a beautiful location for a gorgeous traditional ceremony and The Amway Grand Plaza Imperial Ballroom truly emits classic elegance.

Enjoying this winter wonderland and GVL’s first wedding for 2015. A big congratulations to Kristen Powell and Michael Clapp on their January 3 wedding. The florals matched the season using icy blues and lots of sparkle. The Ceremony took place at one of my favorite church’s Trinity Lutheran and the reception was hosted at the always wonderful Notos.

GVL Floral is looking forward to another fabulous year of weddings! We are loving the direction of today’s brides in the Grand Rapids and West Michigan area. Seeing lots of soft blush tones with pops of deep colors, romantic vintage wedding dresses, mixed metals of gold, bronze and silver.
